I love guitars but do not know how to play?

You need lessons. Either from a private teacher, a good lesson series book, or a good online tutorial that starts with the basics (which is where you need to start). You should look online for an online guitar tuner (search for "online guitar tuner" in Google), or go to a music store and buy a $20 Korg electronic tuner. Then tune your strings from thickest to thinnest to E A D G B E. Then start on chapter 1 of the lessons.
